The Greenway Foundation is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since 1974 they have been leading efforts to enhance and protect the South Platte River in an effort to have a cleaner, safer, more accessible river for all.
CROSSCURRENTs
Denver's free riverside music festival at Confluence Park, with two stages of live music, water activities, a kids zone, and food trucks. All proceeds support The Greenway Foundation's work restoring the South Platte River.
Fishing derby
A day of urban fly fishing on the South Platte, where anglers cast for trout in the heart of downtown Denver. Revesco has stocked the river with thousands of rainbow trout, and the event celebrates the river's comeback with support from Revesco.
gala on the bridge
An evening above the South Platte, with sweeping river views, live music, cocktails, and dinner by local chefs. As The Greenway Foundation's signature fundraiser, the gala supports its work to keep Denver's rivers clean, safe, and accessible for all.
